Ingredients A:

  • 1 pound of organic lean ground turkey breast
  • ¾ cup white onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • ¾ cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 ½ cups zucchini, chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, chopped

Ingredients B:

  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 6-ounce can tomato paste (no sodium)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Ingredients C:

  • Oatmeal, rye, or whole wheat hamburger buns

Method:

  1. Cook ingredients A together in a skillet.
  2. Mix together Ingredients B and add to the skillet.
  3. Let the mixture simmer until it thickens.
  4. Serve on toasted buns.
