It’s usually found in Middle Eastern shops, just be aware that most store-bought pomegranate molasses will have added sugar, so try to look for one without.
Pomegranate Molasses Recipe
Ingredients:
100% natural pomegranate juice, no sugar added
Method:
Add the juice to a saucepan.
Bring to a gentle boil on medium heat.
Reduce heat and let the juice boil gently until it takes on a syrupy texture.
Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
Add molasses to a glass container and store it in the fridge.
Salad Dressing
Ingredients:
1 tbsp pomegranate molasses
Juice of 1 lemon
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tbsp olive oil
Method:
Whisk the above ingredients together in a bowl.
