Easy Chicken Bone Broth

Ingredients
1 yellow onion, roughly chopped
1 head garlic
2 stalks celery, roughly chopped
2 carrots, roughly chopped
1 green bell pepper, roughly chopped
2 sprigs rosemary
2 bay leaves
½ cup fresh flat-leaf parsley
¼ cup fresh thyme
1 tablespoon whole peppercorns
2 pounds chicken bones
10 cups filtered water
Method
In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients.
Turn on the cooker and cook the broth on low heat for 12 to 18 hours.
Once the broth is ready, strain it through a colander and transfer it into an airtight jar.
Refrigerate it until ready to use.
